Born and raised in Texas, Hailyn began dancing at age 2, and was a competitive dancer by age 4.  She received her core training at Cedar Park Dance Company, but continued to expand her skill by attending conventions, intensives, and master classes with world-renowned instructors across the nation. Hailyn danced with Revive Dance National Honor Hip Hop Company, and is proud to have been an assistant for Celebrity Dance Convention as well.  In Austin, Hailyn was also a member of The Dance Project for two years.  She has also been twice awarded Celebrity Dance Convention’s “All Around Dancer of the Year.”  Currently she resides in Chicago, IL, training in various dance styles and teaching a variety of classes. Hailyn has been teaching children ages 2-18 since she was 15, and assisting her mom and other teachers for as long as she can remember. She still actively takes classes and workshops to broaden her knowledge and understanding of dance, to be able to come back and share it with her students. She is proud to be a well rounded dancer who can teach almost any style and age that is required of her. No matter the age or skill level, being a small part of someone’s dance journey is her absolute favorite thing about being a teacher.
