Beatris Mineva, Owner and Dance Director

Beatris Mineva aka “Miss Bea” fell in love with dance at the age of 4 as a child in Sofia, Bulgaria where she is from. Miss Bea came to the United States at age 11 and hasn’t looked back since! Children are her passion. She started sharing her love of dance with kids as an instructor at the age of 17 by empowering youth through movement.

Over the past 8 years, Miss Bea has successfully taught and choreographed competitive routines for several dance schools in the Chicagoland area. Her competitive dance teams have many 1st places finishes. Miss Bea’s mission statement is, “There is no such thing as the IMPOSSIBLE! What we think is the “IMPOSSIBLE”, just takes a little more time, effort, and dedication!”

Beatris Mineva is a professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher. She aims for perfection, not only for herself and what she does, but for her students as well. She makes sure that her students know the basics of dance, but she also works hard to prepare them for serious competitions and for the big stage. Although, she also doesn’t want them to forget about the love, beauty, and happiness that dance provides.

She has been a dance teacher/choreographer for 8 years, and she has been dancing for 20 years. Miss Bea’s classes are intensive, in which their purpose is for her students to improve their level of dance, improve their knowledge about the magic of dance, and to learn different levels/kinds of choreographies. The kids will learn the history of the hip hop culture, as well as the new trends in hip hop. But that’s not all! Miss Bea is also teaching other different styles of dance including lyrical, contemporary, Bulgarian folk dance, and hip hop. Miss Bea’s entire life revolves around dance, it’s what she lives for, and for her, every person can discover new things about themselves through the power of dance. All you need is to overcome the IMPOSSIBLE with time, effort, and dedication.

She trains students of all ages in performance, technique, and style, and can prepare students of all levels for competition and auditions. She has a passion for dance, movement, and choreography that radiates through her unique style and contagious energy

She is passionate about creating, inspiring, and practicing grace in dance and throughout all of life. Beatris believes in teaching dancers’ confidence, self-discipline, and life skills in the studio and empowering young dancers to realize their full potential in whatever they choose to do.

Beatris feels privileged to be a part of Chicago’s dance teacher community, and to share the joy of movement and community with her students at Royal Dance Academy.
